Drama and Storytelling in the ESL classroom
1:00 PM-4:30 PM

Drama and  Storytelling are enjoyable and educationally sound teaching tools. This highly participatory workshop includes a variety of activities which support a creative, communicative ESL classroom. The arts can enhance the practice of the “four skills”  (listening, speaking, reading and writing), teach  vocabulary, functions and grammar while encouraging cross cultural awareness and personal expression. They engage the "whole learner" and the "multiple intelligences."
And they make teaching and learning fun!
